Dr. Julia Carroll

Dr. Julia Carroll is a board-certified dermatologist, co-founder of Compass Dermatology in Toronto, and a faculty member in the University of Toronto’s Division of Dermatology. Blending scientific rigour with an artist’s eye, she is a familiar face on Canadian television—regular on Breakfast Television and featured on Global Morning, ETalk and The Social—and her expert commentary appears in outlets from GQ to Maclean’s. Around the world she lectures (and learns) to keep her patients at the leading edge of evidence-based, results-driven care. At home, she serves on the board of Melanoma Canada and leads the national Mole Mobile program for early skin-cancer detection.

Dr. Carroll completed her dermatology residency at the University of Toronto and is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Prior to her dermatology training, she completed medical school at Dalhousie University, graduating Alpha Omega Alpha.
