Lamija is a Physician Associate with over 15 years of experience in direct patient care. Interpersonal skills are Lamija’s strength and she focuses on empathy and good communication skills to understand others’ viewpoints.
“I never considered or saw myself as having the ability to teach. Over the past several years, through my own learning, I have come into an educator role at the Confidence Lab. Being an effective teacher means more than knowing a particular subject matter and being comfortable in front of an audience. What’s important is to be attentive to individual’s learning needs. It is about the message and information being conveyed with a focus on making sure that it is done in the most efficient and effective manner. For me, it is not about impressing people and getting praised. My goal is to build long term relationships and mentorships.”
Lamija’s focus as an educator is to inspire, challenge and motivate. Lamija has particular interests in the following: avoidance and management of complications, injection anatomy for neuromodulator and filler, regenerative therapies (PRP), and collagen induction therapies.
